Second Post -Birth of Venus Sweatshirt Review

My mom bought me this super cool sweater so I'm doin a review for it

Birth of Venus Print Sweatshirt

It came straight to the door while I was asleep so my mom signed for it and took it out of the envelope but here's the plastic bag it was safely folded in inside the envelope. 

It took about 2 and a half weeks to get here. Here is it directly out of the bag, I'm sorry about bad framing and the table and everything, these were taken just before my birthday so our house was a mess.

This sweater is on sale right now for $24.78, regular $36.03 I'm not sure how much my mom paid or how much shipping was because this was a gift.

Here's a picture from the listing, it only comes in one size but it was very baggy on me and fairly stretchy so I'm sure it'd fit lots of sizes.

It's super comfortable and soft, I was expecting it to feel either kind of scratchy or for the print to be badly put on but its really nice feeling and looks really nice. Also my mom told me to add in that she thinks they shouldn't have cut of her face and should have just moved the image down a little, which I agree with, but its not that big of a deal for me. It shows on the listing that it was going to be like that so at least it wasn't like "Surprise! Her heads cut off a tiny bit!"

Outfit breakdown: wig from ebay, contacts bought at Tsukino Con, necklace is my klk necklace from dettsu storeenvy w the blade taken off, jeans are urban heritage whatever that is haha... they're just from the mall, socks from target, shoes are really old vans.

Its really really nice I don't really have any beef with it other then they shouldn't have cut out that piece of her face, but its super nicely made and you can tell just from looking.

Fit: ☆☆☆☆☆

Its a little big but I like that, and sweatshirts are supposed to be comfortable and loungable so its good.

Quality: ☆☆☆☆☆

Great! There's not a lot I can say other then what I've already said, the print is nice, the fabric is nice, its well made, and its comfortable.

Overall: ☆☆☆☆☆

I really like it, and my mom really likes it, and I'm excited to see if they'll let me wear it at school haha.

First Post! -Iwatobi Swim Jacket Review

Hi! I need a first post! So I thought maybe I should review my iwatobi jacket because I bought it and wore it to a con recently!!

I don't have any pictures of the packaging or any of it directly out of packaging because I wasn't planning on reviewing this when I got it, but it was just in a plastic type envelope and probably some bubble wrap if I remember correctly? Maybe not!! Ah I've had it for a couple weeks now and my memory is bad. I think it took about 3 weeks from ordering it until I was in the mail for me. (ahh jeez I promise next review I'll be more prepared! I just wanted to get a post up.)

Here's a picture of it from the listing! Honestly, I think it looks better in real life then it does here. The light blue looks too light and kind of awkward, but the actual jacket is a way nicer color.

It says $33 but shipping was $3 so I spent $36 on this. I ordered a size small even though my measurements were the same as an extra small, just to be safe, and I'm glad I did because it fit perfectly. Almost too perfectly, if it was even an inch more fitted I would have felt like I was bulging out of it.

Honestly I was expecting this jacket to be poorly made because I ordered it from the cheapest listing on storenvy but I was really impressed. The only thing that wasn't great was that in one of the photos on the listing it explicitly shows someone putting their hand in the pocket, but it has no pockets! I'l probably add those in myself. Another kind of crumby (depending on how you look at it) thing is that its suuuuper thick, and really warm. I wore this with not much else on and I was over heating extremely, even when I wasn't outside. I didn't wear the jacket much other then for pictures.

My wig was bought in the dealers hall of Otafest in Calgary, my glasses were bought from an Icing or Claire's I cant remember which, then painted red with dollar store acrylic, contacts are Beuberry Merry Violet from Uniqso, and my bottoms were 100% made by me.

Look: ☆☆☆☆O

It really looked great everywhere but the collar, it seemed too big, it really highlighted my jaw badly and made my neck look short, like I wasn't standing up straight even when I was. Everything else was good though! The colors were really nice and the lettering looks just right, sometimes it looks awkward for some reason? but I think it looks just like from the anime!

Fit: ☆☆☆☆O

It fit a little snug like I said, but I normally wear a size S so it makes sense that the size small fit me. My measurements matched up with an extra small but I  felt uneasy about getting it that tiny when I normally dont wear an extra small, so it all worked out. If you want to get it and are worried, order whatever size you normally wear.

Quality: ☆☆☆☆O

It was really nice! Everything is great the lettering and the emblem don't look like they'll come off, and the material is thick (though that could be a bad thing if you're wearing it in the heat). Part way through the day someone said the shirt I was wearing was visible through the white but that happens with most white fabric, and you can't see through it in any pictures, so it was fine.

Overall: ☆☆☆☆O

I was impressed with this jacket, I didn't have very high expectations for it just because of how much less money it was then the other listings, but it really pulled through! It looked great in photos and all the minor problems I have with it are so manageable compared to what i was bracing myself for, I honestly think it looks nicer then the stock photo. I feel like I can't give it a 5 though, I really wanted pockets...
